Isover InsulSafe is a heat-insulating material intended for blowing. The material can be used for thermal insulation in both new and renovated buildings. Isover InsulSafe has been manufactured in Finland and around the world for 20 years and has a wealth of experience in the construction industry. Isover InsulSafe is CE marked.
Application
Isover InsulSafe can be used to insulate attics when applied to horizontal surfaces, as well as to insulate walls and pitched roofs. The thermal conductivity of the loft insulation at a density of 15 kg / m³ of blown material is 0.041 W / mK. For thermal insulation of skeletal walls and pitched roofs with a material density of 23 kg / m³, the thermal conductivity is 0.036 W / mK. In addition to its excellent thermal insulation properties, Isover InsulSafe is also an effective soundproofing material. The material can be installed directly above the existing, old thermal insulation (sawdust, cellulose wool, rock wool, glass wool).
Installation
Isover InsulSafe can easily be installed in low-altitude areas where other types of insulation, such as attics, are difficult to access and install. The blowing technology ensures a smooth application of the material, filling all cavities, elbows, pockets and tight spaces, and prevents cold bridging. The white color of the product facilitates quality control. The material provides optimum thermal insulation when the entire insulated space is filled. When inserting the material into open horizontal planes, you need to inflate the product by 5% more than the intended nominal thickness. Material may shrink <5%.
package
Film packaging in which the material is compressed to 89% of its original volume. The volume of transport of one pressed package is only 0, 083 m³, and it contains 0.75 m³ of finished insulation material.
